HellO,
I'm Lųc, author-photographer based in Barcelona, originally from Marseille.
I added the dot to my name, Lųc, inspired by the Vietnamese meaning of "Lục," which holds a special significance for me.
Ih8 Camera is a playful nod to the Hi8 video format and the fatigue to the world of gear obsession.(Des fatigués... ceux de Marseille comprendront)

Robert Smith, kept the pickup from his first Teisco guitar and fitted it to his Jaguar... There you have it.
I mainly shoot with analog cameras, develop and print my black-and-white film myself.
Over the years, through practice and experimentation, I have developed my own process for achieving the look and quality I seek in my black-and-white work.
For color photography, I usually collaborate with a lab.

I independently edited and produced my first photobook, Tet Trung Thu, handling the entire process from concept to final print in 2026.

The artists who have influenced and inspired me the most include David Bowie, Blonde redhead, Michel Houellebecq, Eikoh Hosoe, Josef Koudelka,  Mo Yi, Ken Domon, Sergio Larraín, Antoine d'Agata, Tokyo Rumando, Omar Rodríguez-López, Nobuyoshi Araki, and Masahisa Fukase.
